Qué mal humor... se acuerdan de mi Kelmscott?
I'm in a terrible mood... remember my Kelmscott?

Me estaba pareciendo grande, me entró el miedito de que se estirara, así que mojé y traté de bloquear la espalda.
It was looking kind of big. I started fearing it would stretch, so I blocked the back.

Resulta que al mojarse, cedió. Ahora mi espalda mide 75 cms. Está bien que soy una chica, ejem... voluptuosa, pero 150 cms de contorno todavía no tengo. Les pongo una sigla? LPQLP
Turns out that, after a good soak, it did stretch. A lot. My back is now 75 cm wide. So, I'm a rather voluptuous girl, but not yet 1.5 meters in diameter.

¿Qué hago, lo destejo? Tengo terminada la espalda y una delantera. ¡Qué horror!
So, what do I do now? Should I unravel it? I had finished the back and one front. The horror!

Kelmscott

Desde que salió en Twist Collective, me quedé antojada con el Kelmscott. De modo que no resistí más y lo empecé.
I've been wanting to knit this Kelmscott cardigan since it came out in Twist Collective. So I eventullay started it.



La espalda es muy sencilla y aburrida, jersey con un pequeñísimo detalle.
The back is oh so simple and boring, just stockinette with the tiniest detail.

Las delanteras.... bueno, no puedo decir que sean aburridas! Hace bastante tenía ganas de probar a tejer uno de esos calados que tienen aumentos y disminuciones en todas las vueltas, las del derecho y las del revés. ¡Y así es este modelo!
The fronts though... I cannot call them boring! For a long time I was thinking of knitting the kind of lace where you have to work increases and decreases in every row, front and back. Well, this cardigan is knit just like that!

Digamos que no es para tejer mirando la tele.
Let's just say it's knot TV knitting.

Saroyan

Las fotos no están buenas, pero les prometo que mi Saroyan si!
