February lady sweater vs Shalom

Tengo una duda, y vengo a que la blogaudiencia me la solucione. Para qué están, no?

Pro:
parece muuuuy fácil de hacer.
ContraS:
* ¿Será usable así sin mangas? (en Buenos Aires no hace tanto frío, así que podría ser)
* Lo veo demasiado "tejeril", como algo que sólo una tejedora se pondría.

Pros: It looks fairly easy to knit
Cons:
* How much would I get from a sleevless sweater?
It's not that cold in Buenos Aires, so maybe I would use it.
* Doesn't it look too knitterly? Like something only a knitter would wear?

O me tejo el February Lady Sweater (Pamela Wynne)
Pro: Parece fácil y tiene calados.
Contra: Tengo miedo de que la parte de Santa Clara se estire demasiado y me quede una bolsa.

Or do I knit the February Lady Sweater?
Pros: it also looks fairly easy, and there is some lace in there.
Cons: I'm a bit scared that the yoke will stretch and I'll end up owing a sack.

¿Vieron que en algunos blogs publican el sweater del mes/semana? ¿El sweater que han tejido o, el que tienen puesto?

Bueno, desde aquí, la indeseable mezcla de mi ansiedad por poseer cada vez más prendas tejidas por mí y mis casi insignifcantes habilidades tricoteras, resultará en lo que voy a llamar el "sweater que me quiero tejer ya mismo pero no voy a empezar aún porque (insertar pretexto del día)".

Hoy les muestro este cardigan. Vamos primero con los créditos: la diseñadora es Cheryl Kemp, su sitio web es divaknitting. El patrón es gratuito y lo pueden ver en Ravelry

¿Por qué me gusta? Por tanto calado de la cintura para bajo y de los codos al puño. También por el calado de lazadas de las sisas. Me gusta también el escote y la silueta, al cuerpo pero no apretada. Igual para mí lo haría un poco más sueltito.

¿Les gusta? ¿Alguien lo tejió ya?

You know how some blogs publish their sweater of the week/month? Either one recently finished by the author, or maybe the one they are wearing?
My coveting more and more knitted garments added to my ever so negligible knitting abilities will result in my posting, every so often, a "sweater I want to knit right now, but which I'm not going to start yet because (insert pretext of the day)".

This is the cardigan for today. Credits first: the designer is Cheryl Kemp, her website is divaknitting. This is a free pattern you can get at her site or through Ravelry.

What do I like about it? All that lace detailing from the waist down (and from the elbows down too). For some reason, I also enjoy tremendously the yarn over raglan increases. I also think there front opening looks good, and it has a nice body-hugging silhoutte. I would knit it a bit roomier for myself, but still.

So what do you think? Maybe you have knitted it already?
