Primavera / Spring

Y llegó nomás!

La primavera no me gusta porque ya no puedo usar pulloveres, bufandas, guantes, sacos, etc.
I don't really enjoy spring because I can no longer wear sweaters, scarves, gloves, cardigans, etc.

Hace rato que no había transmisión, eh?
Sin mucho detalle, estuve enferma, ambulancia de por medio, mucho reposo, sigo jodida pero circulante. En breve, resumimos la transmisión habitual.

Long time no see, uh?
Without getting into that much detail, I was quite sick, had to call in an ambulance on Saturday, I had to get some mandatory rest, I'm not well yet, but I'm around and kicking. Our usual stuff will be coming up soon.

¡Qué poco original! No pude resistir... acá está. La mayoría no necesitará que les diga que és. Pero para mis lectores y lectoras que no tejen, esto es (será) un Clapotis.
How unoriginal of me! I could not resist any longer... so here it is. Most of you won't need me to tell you what it is. To my non knitting readers: this is (or, hopefully, will be) a Clapotis.

Gatito o langostino? / Shrimp neck warmer?

Les muestro el gatito que tejí con Langostino
This is the smailsh neck warmer I knitted using "Langostino".



Saqué las instrucciones de este sitio / I used a pattern from this site (in Spanish).

Es muy útil, ya que el elástico doble tejido en cerca de las puntas hace que se sostenga solo y no tenga uno que andar arreglándose la bufanda a cada rato.
Quite useful, since the double rib knitted near the ends make this stay put all by itself and you don't need to keep adjusting it continously like a regular scarf.
