¡Las terminé!I finished!
Las hice cortitas porque me gustan los zoquetes, no tanto las medias largas. Están hechas en un simple elástico 3x2 (son buenas para el insomnio, es un punto de los más aburrido ZZZZZ), de la punta al puño.I knitted them quite short because I like them that way. They are made in very simple 3x2 ribbing (very good for insomnia, it's a very boring stitch).
Tuve un problema: el talón me quedó medio chico, debería haber tomado más puntos para hacerlo. Será la próxima vez.
I only had one problem: the heel was rather small, I should have taken more stitches. Next time.
Otro detalle: probé dos métodos distintos de cerrar los puntos. Una media la terminé cerrando tres puntos, volviendo a tejer el úlitmo de los tres, y así repetir hasta el final. La otra la terminé con el punto cosido (con aguja de coser, ir sacándolos de la aguja). El primer método me quedó más elástico. La media suelta queda fruncidita, pero una vez puesta se estira sin apretar el tobillo.Another side note: I tried two different cast off methos. One sock was finished by casting off three stitches, reknitting the third one, and so on until the end. The other one was done using the sewn cast off. The first method was certainly more elastic. The sock per se looks a bit ruffled, but when worn it stays put comfortably up.
Aunque es verano, las uso porque con el aire acondicionado se me enfrían los pies.
I'm wearing even though it's summer, since the air conditioning freezes my feet.
